About Morgan Carter
Morgan has loved art from a very young age. While watching his mom, a school teacher, work on classroom learning materials, he showed much curiosity and creativity. Also his father worked as a journalist and news editor for over 35 years.
His father had an interest in photography and bought a used Fujica SLR camera, from a photo journalist he worked with and later gave this to Morgan. With this camera he started photography around 7th grade, and was involved with school newspapers, and yearbooks all through school. Classmates began hiring Morgan, for their events and parties. After school, Morgan had planned on working at one of the local newspapers as a photo journalist, but while still in high school started working part-time at an electronics and computer company. After high school he started working full-time at the company, which led to a 30-plus year career in information technology. He still pushed his creative skills in the computer and IT fields, but turned back to his first love of photography and film work over the last couple of years.
Morgan is also a musician and started a small film and music production company to work on ministry projects in North Carolina utilizing his many skills and years of experience.
